Recently, the Premier Kinetic Chronograph, a new luxury look watch, was unveiled by the Seiko watchmanufacturer. The new model, wrapped in the 42mm stainless steel case, with a noble Rose Gold PVD coated finish, features a sparkly sapphire crystal. The black dial with steel Roman numerals, as well as the subdials, hands and indices in rose gold accents, makes the Premier Kinetic Chronograph a “Cold Nobility”.
The 7L22 Kinetic Chronograph calibre, with 1/5th-second timing capabilities and up to 12 hours elapsed time, makes the movement for the Premier Kinetic Chronograph. The proprietary “Kinetic” technology by Seiko results in loss friction and less loss of energy in motions in intrinsic procedure, compared to conventional ones. The Kinetic series is not composed by a set of traditional automatic watches. The key of the truth that it works without the need for a battery,which makes it seem like a traditional automatic watch, lies in the application of a quartz crystal oscillator. The integration of the rotor, which can generate power, with the quartz crystal oscillator, creates a “automatic” Kinetic Chronograph.
Other features include an instant flyback function, allowing the Premier Kinetic Chronograph hands to reset at the push of the reset button, and water-resistance to 100m. This new time piece is available in leather strap at the price of $1,050.
