Following the great success of the Rusted Steel T-Oxy II watch, the new member of exclusive Romain Jerome Titanic-DNA collection – the T-Oxy IV Ultimate Rust watch, has recently released, aiming at a special place in the wanted list of Titanic fans and luxury watches collectors.

Titanic-DNA is an exclusive and unprecedented collection, inspired by the legendary ocean liner the Titanic, which went down in the North Atlantic in 1912. Romain Jerome pays homage to the illustrious liner by providing its timepieces with a part of the legend. The rusted steel bezel is the result of the extraordinary fusion between authentic steel from the wreck lying 3,840 metres under the sea, and steel supplied by the Harland & Wolff shipyards in Belfast, where the Titanic was built almost a century ago. The hands are inspired by the Titanic’s anchor and rotate on a dial of deep black achieved using coal collected from the legendary wreck. The design adopted for the small seconds hand at 9 o’clock evokes the counters used on the steam engine dials. These watchmaking creations are limited to 2012 pieces.
The new Titanic-DNA watch features a matt 18K 5N pink gold case, with a generous diameter of 46 mm. As a expression of the last possible stage of oxidization process before the steel decomposes, the stabilized rusted bezel reveals kind of historical vicissitudes feeling. Protected by a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the watch has a case back marked with an engraved medallion.

A self-winding exclusive C22RJ51 Concepto calibre by Jacquet, operating the hours, minutes, seconds and date functions, serves for movement in the new watch. In addition, the water- resistance is to 50 meters. The new timepiece comes with a rubber or full-skin Hornback crocodile leather strap, fitted with a folding clasp in 18K pink gold. Against the tradition of 2012 limited units, only 500 pieces made are available, extremely limited.
