When It comes to snake themed watches, the first model rushing to my mind is the Nubeo Black Mamba , which is enjoying partnership with the famous NBA star Kobe Bryant . Apart from this industry junior, there are two more famous brands, Bulgariand Maurice Lacroix , focusing heavily on their snake themed collections. Both of them will join into our topic today.

Frankly speaking, it was the Bulgari new Serpenti line that invocates my thought about Maurice Lacroix Divina Temptation line of limited edition watches, originally released a few years ago. Even though I wondered about who really bought them for its “frightening” theme, I alway appreciated this elegant ladies’ watch with its exceptional look. Despite of my excitement about Bear Grylls eating kinds of snakes in Man Vs Wild , I must admit I am not among those who loves snakes. But I really I like Maurice Lacroix’s ads for the watch, in which they used snakes pretty well. As Bulgari has done snake themed watches way in the past, I don’t think Maurice Lacroix is being targeted by the Italian brand.

Absolutely, Bulgari did a better job in naming the watches, with the name of Serpenti should clearly resonate with the reptilian look of the snake themed watches. For Maurice Lacroix, the “Temptation” part of the name probably relates to the snake that tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden. And I am wondering if the brand knows about the hot beauties transformed into by so-called “Naga Queen” in oriental myth.

Maurice Lacroix Divina Temptation Limited Edition comes in a 24.5mm wide case in 18k white gold and features four types. Each highlights a collection of jewels that form the snake image on the polished solid silver dial. I don’t want to talk about the readability of this watch, because that is not the point. The four versions of the ladies’ watch perform in different kind of beauty: a green toned version with rubies and green Tsavorites, a brown version with garnets and blue sapphires ( both of these are limited to just 10 pieces ), a red toned version with diamonds, rubies, and pink sapphires, and finally an orange toned version with orange and yellow sapphires, and rubies. The final two versions are limited to 30 pieces each . To own these beauties costs you $60,000 – $100,000 each.
